Bocas del Toro

Bocas del Toro is in the north-westernmost province in Panama. It is consistently 79 degrees fahrenheit, with very little variation. It has a very large diversity in coral and marine fauna. It is a large archipelago that has three main islands. One of these islands is Isla Colón, which is home to the provincial capital, Bocas Town. Some of the people who inhabit Bocas del Toro speak a language called Guari-Guari. Guari-Guari is a mix of Spanish, English, and French. They have a large variety of waves for surfing, and all of the islands are relatively close, as little as 2 minutes away by water-taxi. A lot of the villages on the islands are on the edge of the water, or even on the water. One island in particular, Isla Bastimentos, is known for having a large array of biological diversity. It is also known for the differences between all of the beaches without human intervention. Overall, Bocas del Toro is an amazing place with a diverse ecosystem, and a very diverse culture.
